Facebook Buys Instagram for $1 Billion

inter alia quoting a Facebook press release as follows:

"Facebook announced today that it has reached an agreement to acquire Instagram, a fun, popular photo-sharing app for mobile devices.

“The total consideration for San Francisco-based Instagram is approximately $1 billion in a combination of cash and shares of Facebook. The transaction, which is subject to customary closing conditions, is expected to close later this quarter."

The United Kingdom (UK) has taken an ill-advised course to save fees previously paid to language translators in court, a policy which will probably ultimately cost society more money than it is saving.

You simply can not rely on machine translation or amateurs for legal matters.

Qualified translators have always been and still are the only viable solution.

As it is, translators are poorly paid nearly everywhere already so that trying to cut their fees even more is ridiculous.

No justice that way -- for anyone.
