We see that the The Volokh Conspiracy is now powered by PowerBlogs, a Windows-based blogging client, which can be installed for a minimum fee.



Here is what Jacob T. Levy has to say there about PowerBlogs and Blogger:



"Whew! Looks like we got off blogger just in time! ... The new blogger interface is pretty annoying, whereas this PowerBlogs thing is lovely.



... I assume that the blogger relaunch is meant to make things less buggy, but it rests on an immediately unappealing interface. Even when they finally get around to making things better they make things worse.



You'd think that if your company had the natural advantage that its name was the name of a genre, you'd want to protect the brand. You'd at least not want the most prominent practitioners of the genre to mock the brand, and you might want some of the most prominent practitioners of the genre to use the brand. But apparently not..."
