Three Former Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison Summer Associates are Justices on the U.S. Supreme Court - All the Ladies

LawPundit read only recently that U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had broken two ribs this past June, but had continued without skipping a beat in her work. In the course of checking up on her injury we found that also she had been a summer associate at Paul|Weiss, as we wrote in our update today to a previous LawPundit posting at Another Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison Summer Associate to the Supreme Court? Obama Nominates Elena Kagan as U.S. Supreme Court Justice:
"Update, September, 2012: I read recently in the history of the law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, of which I am a summer associate and associate alumnus, that also Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a summer associate at the firm. As written at the firm's Paul|Weiss history page online:
"Each of the three women serving on the U.S. Supreme Court in 2012 began her career as a summer associate at Paul, Weiss."

USTR US Trade Representative and International Copyright Scope and Limits and the TPP Draft

Megan Geuss has the international copyright draft story for Ars Technica at Leaked: US proposal on copyright's limits.

The problem is that major "partners" in these kinds of negotiations tend to represent rightsholders and vested interests. There are always too few people involved who are actually looking for sensible intellectual property rights rules that take into account ALL the people's interests.
