Patent Troll Litigation and Fear of Software Lawsuits Drive App Developers Away From US Markets

Pervasive patent madness via patent trolls and software patents continues in the United States, this time for app developers.

Increasing subjection to or fear of US software patent lawsuits is driving foreign app software innovation away, as reported by Charles Arthur at the Guardian in "App developers withdraw from US as patent fears reach 'tipping point'".

This was all foreseeable, as the US legal system has simply failed to comprehend that patents on software are undesirable innovation suppressants.

China Buying Spanish, Portuguese and Greek Bonds to Stabilize Markets and Avert a Clash of Generations and a War of Economic Classes in the West

Thomas L. Friedman writes at the New York Times in The Clash of Generations that: 

"China has been buying Spanish, Portuguese and Greek bonds to help stabilize these Chinese export markets....

This is a role America used to play, but can no longer afford."
